Hours per week: +/- 3 (can be more or less depending on the time of the year)
Bonus experience: Any experience with budgeting, finance, or accounting.

Length of committee membership: 1 academic year (October 1st, 2024 – June 31st, 2025)
Description:
As the Treasurer, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of the association. This includes budgeting, tracking expenses, and ensuring that funds are used responsibly. You will work closely with the president to ensure the events and activities are financially feasible and align with our budget. Your role is crucial in keeping our finances transparent, organized, and compliant.
What you’ll be doing:
- Oversee the financial planning and management for all committee activities.
- Prepare and manage the annual budget, ensuring all expenditures are accounted for.
- Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions, including receipts and invoices.
- Report on the financial status of the committee regularly to the rest of the team.
- Handle reimbursements, payments, and any other financial operations.
