SpaceTech: Launch Your Career
Do you have a business or economics background with an interest in Space Tech? Then this is the event for you!
On June 6th ECE Students will host its annual IdeaLab focused on Space Startups & Innovators from the Space Business Innovation Centre Noordwijk (SBIC): a European Space Agency Incubator.
What to expect?
We invited three companies that are all involved in developing satellite technology to help improve the efficiency and health of both our natural and urban societies, pretty cool right? Here is a short introduction for each:
- Polariks: are developing a precision agriculture analysis method based multi and Hyperspectral imaging. This allows for better harvest planning and increased efficiency of resource use, earlier detection of disease, and reduced inspection costs.
- RoadEO: is developing a data collection and analytics tool for monitoring road quality.
- Viridian Raven: is developing forestry satellite technology to perform risk analysis of forests which are at risk of a plague or outbreak.
During intensive workshops you will develop solutions for three real-life business cases and pitch your final solutions directly to the start-ups.
Coffee, snacks, nice warm lunch and networking drinks will all be provided to make sure you are functioning at your best!
Last but not least: if you are still looking for an internship then you came to the right event! During the cases and after the final pitch you have the opportunity to: interact with the companies on a personal level to broaden your network for collaborations and mentoring as well as to get invited to a formal interview!
