HR Director
As HR Director, you will ensure that the entire association (active and passive members, as well as the board) collaborates effectively. You will be in charge of organising HR initiatives such as trips, internal events, social gatherings, and more to foster a sense of community within the association, as what happens on the inside is visible on the outside!
Hours per week: +/- 15 (may vary depending on the time of the year)

Key Responsibilities:
Lead the HR committee and develop a strategy that promotes engagement, inclusivity, and a strong sense of community within the association.
Oversee recruitment and onboarding, including defining criteria, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and ensuring smooth integration of new members.
Support personal and professional development by guiding members toward growth opportunities and fostering a learning-focused culture.
Strengthen internal communication and collaboration through consistent updates, feedback channels, and team-building initiatives.
Collaborate with event teams to maintain high-quality, mission-aligned events that create a welcoming and connected atmosphere for both members and participants.
Manage community outreach efforts, including maintaining the alumni database and driving long-term engagement through strategic connections and initiatives.
Qualifications:
Strong communication and active listening skills, essential for supporting team well-being, resolving conflicts, and maintaining healthy internal dialogue.
Experience with recruitment or selection processes, such as participating in interviews, reviewing applications, or helping onboard new members in student organizations.
Ability to foster team cohesion and community, demonstrated through organizing or contributing to student events, group initiatives, or mentoring peers.
Organizational and planning skills, developed through coordinating meetings, managing small projects, or leading group tasks.
Interest in people development and inclusive leadership, shown through peer support roles, feedback culture, or involvement in community-building initiatives.
Comfort with digital tools for communication and tracking, such as Google Drive, Excel, Notion, or Discord, used to support HR workflows and engagement efforts.
