Project Manager

Do you have an eye for detail and a passion for organizing big-scale events? Apply as Project Manager to become the mastermind behind the execution of our programmes. As Project Manager, you are in charge of turning interesting ideas into real events/programmes. We are looking for an individual that has exceptional organisational skills and can bring authentic ideas to the table. Through this role, you will challenge yourself and get the opportunity to successfully launch ECE Students’ large-scale professional programmes.

Workload: 4-5 hours per week (can be more or less depending on the time of the year)

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for Project Managers who are able to:

  • Demonstrate a great eye for detail
  • Think outside the box to find creative solutions
  • Proficiently manage their time and abide by deadlines
  • Communicate effectively with good interpersonal skills
  • Plan and organize events while taking into consideration the financial and time constraints

Responsibilities of a Project Manager

  • Organising the flagship event of ECE Students: Student Founders Programme (SFP).
  • Analysing the feedback gathered from previous year’s SFP participants and coming up with innovative ideas to move the program one step further.
  • Preparing the content of the Student Founders Programme by formulating the path that aspiring entrepreneur students will follow throughout 12 weeks.
  • Contacting keynote speakers, start-ups, and companies.
  • Maintaining clear communication with all related stakeholders (participants, keynote speakers, partners, etc.).
  • Physically attending the programme and monitoring the details.
  • Always being open to problems that would arise before or during the programme and having a proactive approach to tackle those challenges.
  • Organising networking sessions for SFP participants.
  • What else? Student Founders Program is a start-up program made by the students for the students. So, you are more than welcome to bring innovative ideas to the table. You can shape the Student Founders Programme as you want.
  • Also… Programme Committee is not limited to SFP. Even though organising SFP is the main focus of the committee, you can organise all kinds of smaller-scale programs for the EUR community throughout the academic year.

External Relations Coordinator Responsibilties

  • Being the “bridge” between the Programme Committee and the other committees of ECE Students.
  • Keeping the other committees updated about the progress of the Programme Committee.
  • Answering the questions of the other committee members or committee chairs.
  • Keeping the Programme Committee members updated about the progress of other committees.
  • Overseeing the logistics of the Student Founders Programme and other programmes organized by the Programme Committee (catering, setting up locations, reserving rooms, etc.)
  • Physically attending the programmes and monitoring the details.
  • Always being open to problems that would arise before or during the programmes and having a proactive approach to tackle those challenges.
  • Organising networking sessions for Student Founders Programme participants.

External Relations Coordinator

Do you have excellent communication skills? Are you someone who is social and extroverted? Apply as an External Relations Coordinator to become the key person that runs the communications of the Programme Committee. As the External Relations Coordinator, you will be responsible for maintaining healthy communication between the Programme Committee and other committees of ECE Students. At the same time, you will be responsible for overseeing the “logistics” aspect of the programmes (catering, location, etc.), contacting related stakeholders, and organising those details in advance. Through this role, you will challenge yourself and get the opportunity of boosting your communication skills and expanding your network in the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
